Description:
Where is our Lord Jesus today, the man Jesus? He is seated at the right hand of the Father, in the highest position of honor. He is our representative and intercessor before God, and we are united with Him. When God looks at us, He sees the righteousness of Jesus. Because of this, we are forgiven, cleansed, and declared just for eternity.
Romans 8 speaks to this assurance for believers. This truth is
practical for our daily lives: we can rest confidently, knowing that nothing can ever condemn us. Even in times of tribulation, we find comfort, as we are in His hands and our future is secure in Him.
For a Christian, there is no condemnation—ever. Our salvation is secure.
